Capital Campaign:
BWP Bridges to Bravery Center

Brave Women Project exists to create environments where women can remain, advance, and lead without burning out or stepping away from their careers, businesses, or communities. Through leadership programming, community connection, and psychologically safe spaces, BWP supports women across industries and stages of life as they navigate growth, transition, and leadership.

Over the past several years, Brave Women Project has grown from a series of gatherings into a regional leadership and community resource. Our programs bring together professional women, business owners, corporate leaders, and community partners who are committed to strengthening leadership pipelines, improving retention, and building cultures where women can thrive long term.

As participation and demand have increased, so has the need for a permanent home.

The BWP Bridges to Bravery Center will serve as a dedicated space for leadership development, workforce retention programming, mentoring, community dialogue, and member engagement. The Center will provide a consistent and accessible environment where women can gather, learn, collaborate, and build the confidence and support systems necessary for long term success. Establishing a permanent home allows Brave Women Project to expand programming, deepen corporate and community partnerships, and create a lasting infrastructure for leadership development.

This campaign is not simply about acquiring space. It is about building infrastructure that strengthens leadership sustainability and community stability. When women have access to connection, skill building, and supportive environments, organizations retain talent, businesses grow stronger, and communities benefit from sustained leadership.

The capital campaign will support three critical areas of investment:

  • Capital Investment to secure and prepare a permanent home designed for gathering, learning, and collaboration.

  • Capacity Investment to ensure strong leadership, operational sustainability, and responsible growth during the transition and expansion period.

  • Program Investment to activate the Center immediately through leadership programming, community events, and member engagement initiatives.

The total campaign goal of $1.4 million reflects an investment in long-term impact, not short-term programming. The BWP Bridges to Bravery Center will serve as a lasting resource where women can connect, develop leadership confidence, and continue contributing meaningfully to their workplaces and communities.

Brave Women Project invites partners, donors, and community leaders to help build this next chapter. Together, we are creating a place where women are supported not only in moments of transition, but throughout their leadership journey.

The BWP Bridges to Bravery Center is the physical embodiment of everything Brave Women Project has been building since day one. It carries forward our original mission while expanding the infrastructure that sustains women long term. This Center is not just a space. It is a strategic investment in the future of professional women and the systems they influence. Every program, gathering, workshop, and mentoring moment inside these walls will strengthen women in four core areas: Relationships, Professional Development, Impact, and Wellness. These are not abstract concepts. They are the structural supports of the bridge. When these four pillars are strong, women remain in the workforce, advance into leadership, contribute meaningfully to their communities, and do so without burning out.

Bridges to Bravery Center will serve as a catalyst for economic stability, leadership continuity, and cultural transformation in our region. It will provide consistent programming, mentoring, peer infrastructure, and leadership development experiences that create measurable outcomes for women and the organizations they serve. For visionary donors and institutional funders, this is an opportunity to anchor your legacy to a movement that is strengthening the workforce from the inside out. Major contributors will have the opportunity to name and dedicate rooms within the Center, with permanent recognition that reflects their commitment to advancing women’s leadership and long-term sustainability. Your investment does more than fund a building. It fortifies the bridge that carries women forward and ensures that bravery has a permanent home.

At the BWP Bridges to Bravery Center, our four core areas are not programming categories. They are the structural supports that ensure women do not fracture under pressure, stall in their growth, or exit leadership prematurely. Each pillar is intentional. Each pillar is measurable. Each pillar strengthens the bridge.

Relationships

The Relationships pillar is the heartbeat of the Center. This is where meaningful, strategic, and trusted connections are built. Not surface level networking. Not transactional exchanges. Real relationships that create access, opportunity, collaboration, and long term support. Inside the Center, women will participate in curated connection experiences, peer advisory circles, mentoring cohorts, and facilitated conversations designed to foster trust and accelerate growth. When women are known, supported, and connected to the right rooms and resources, isolation decreases and confidence increases. Strong relationships are the first reinforcement beam of the bridge.

Professional Development

The Professional Development pillar ensures women are not just present in the workforce but positioned to advance. This includes leadership labs, executive skill building, public speaking intensives, board readiness training, financial literacy workshops, and visibility strategy sessions. Women will have access to tangible tools that strengthen negotiation skills, strategic thinking, executive presence, and influence. This pillar moves women from participation to leadership. It supports succession planning, retention, and upward mobility. When women are equipped with the right skills and access, organizations benefit from stronger pipelines and sustainable leadership.

Wellness

The Wellness pillar acknowledges a truth too often ignored: leadership without wellbeing is not sustainable. The Center will integrate programming that supports mental clarity, physical health, emotional resilience, and nervous system regulation. Workshops on stress management, boundaries, burnout prevention, and holistic wellbeing will sit alongside quiet spaces designed for restoration and reflection. Wellness is not indulgent. It is foundational. Women who are supported in their wellbeing stay longer, lead stronger, and contribute at higher levels without sacrificing themselves in the process.

Impact

Together, these pillars reinforce the bridge. Relationships provide connection. Professional Development provides advancement. Wellness provides sustainability. And through the Impact pillar, expressed through a Crown & Crate fundraising boutique featuring exclusively women owned businesses, the Center will circulate dollars back into the ecosystem of women entrepreneurs, creating a tangible economic ripple effect. This is infrastructure. This is strategy. This is how women stay, lead, and thrive.
