About the Event

Join us as we officially unveil The Brave Space: A Place for Bravery in Action - a powerful new addition to Downtown Pittsburgh, created by Brave Women Project in partnership with the Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership and supported by the Placemaking Grant Program and Citizens.

This open house-style afternoon begins at noon, with the ribbon cutting scheduled for 12:30 p.m.

This seasonal installation at U.S. Steel Plaza is more than a place to gather - it’s a place to grow. The Brave Space was designed to honor everyday courage, invite moments of reflection, and foster meaningful connections in the heart of our city.

We invite you to witness the ribbon cutting, meet our community of supporters, and explore this new public space created with intention and purpose. Whether you stop by on your lunch break or stay for the celebration, your presence helps us amplify our mission: to inspire brave action in every corner of…
