Do One Nice Thing Every Day

Updated: Apr 10, 2025

At BWP, we often say Do One Brave Thing Every Day, and we believe in that deeply. But this month, let’s explore a softer, equally powerful twist: What if we each committed to Do One Nice Thing Every Day, especially for another woman?

In a world that often pulls us in a thousand directions, it’s easy to get caught up in the rush of our own to-do lists, deadlines, and daily chaos. But even in the busiest seasons of life, we have the power to pause, and to pour into someone else.

Kindness doesn’t always show up with grand gestures. Sometimes it looks like a thoughtful message, a quick connection, or simply holding space for someone who needs to be heard.

It only takes one spark to light a movement. Be the woman who ignites it in others.
It only takes one spark to light a movement. Be the woman who ignites it in others.

I ask that this week you make it a point to intentionally lift the women around you.

  • Cheer on a friend launching her dream project.

  • Share a post from a woman-owned business.

  • Recommend someone for an opportunity.

  • Introduce a connection that could help them land their next client, job, or breakthrough.

  • If you see someone struggling, offer your support.

  • And if someone seems to have it all together, check in anyway. Chances are, she’s carrying more than you realize.

Let’s normalize asking how someone’s really doing. Let’s offer more virtual coffee chats, spontaneous “thinking of you” texts, and shared moments of honesty. Let’s hold doors open, not just literally, but figuratively, so other women can walk through them too. Building our own “villages”, a network of women who truly support and elevate one another, is essential. But that’s not just about being part of someone’s network; it’s about actively working that network to make a difference in each other’s lives.

This week’s call to action!

Visit the BWP Members-Only section and choose five women to intentionally connect with. Reach out. Start a conversation. You can make a real difference in someone’s journey. Get to know them on a deeper level and see what happens.

Be part of her village and let her be part of yours.

Because when we support each other, we all rise.

In kindness,

Kelli
